Community Invited to Celebrate the Season at the South Glens Falls Holiday Tree Lighting

South Glens Falls, NY — The South Glens Falls–Town of Moreau Chamber of Commerce invites the community to gather for its annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration on Saturday, December 7, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the South Glens Falls Historical Park Gazebo. This year’s event begins a little earlier—just in time to catch the tree lighting around 4:00 PM, close to sunset, and maybe a bit more warmth!
This festive afternoon will feature free horse-drawn carriage rides from Lukas Cochran, festive caroling led by the SGF Vocal Point, and a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Guests can also take memorable photos with a Santa and Mrs. Santa wooden cutout display, courtesy of TR Signs/Tim Rodrique.
Enjoy free cookies provided by SGF Helping Hands and hot chocolate from Stewart’s Shops, or stop by Coach’s Corner and The Coffee Stable for more treats and warm beverages. The SGF Fire Department Auxiliary will be serving fresh popcorn, and a variety of local craft vendors will be on hand with unique holiday gifts perfect for everyone on your list.
The Chamber extends heartfelt thanks to Premier Sponsor, Boralex, and to the Village of South Glens Falls and The Hayes Group, LLC for preparing the event space.
